These are photos taken in and around Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, on my trip in August 2017. The fast-growing capital has been evolving and looks different on each of my trips, each time encroaching more on the surrounding vegetation. In addition, climate change is slowly but surely evolving the natural flora of the country. My father planted a garden last year with native and imported plants, irrigated with a new drop-for-drop system, and it has flourished.
For documentation purposes and for beauty, here are some photographs of vegetation, of lovely people interacting with nature and - I couldn't resist - a new dog mother with her puppies.
